Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions at the
University of Ghana Co-operative Credit Union:

1. OPERATIONS OFFICER

Reports to: Head of Banking

Qualification
a. Applicants must hold either a bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a
Business-related subject or Social Sciences awarded by a recognized University or a
Polytechnic
b. A minimum of 2 years post-qualification working experience (national service inclusive)

Duties include

  • Efficiently managing the teller cubicles and carrying out routine activities in the cubicles
  • Timely processing of members’ requests
  • Answering members’ queries in the banking hall
  • Ensuring proper documentation of loan application before commencing the approval
    process.
  • Efficiently managing queues in the banking hall
  • Liaising with the Head of Banking to ensure that account balances are enough to satisfy
    members’ requests.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by Superior Officers.

2. MEMBER CARE AND SERVICES OFFICER

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Qualification
a. Applicants must hold either a bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a
Business-related subject or Social Sciences awarded by a recognized University or a
Polytechnic
b. A minimum of 2 years post-qualification working experience (national service inclusive)

Duties include

  •  Answering telephone queries
  • Registering new members
  • Enrolling members on mobile money and Credit Union’s app
  • Assisting in data collection on various matters for product development and service
    quality
  • Educating existing and potential members on the Credit Union’s products and services
  • Resolving member complaints
  • Recruiting new members
  • Performing any other duties assigned by Management
